WELCOME
Thanks for stopping by. While you're here, I hope to tell you a little bit about myself.
I've been a licensed REALTOR since 1987. In partner with my sister, Roberta, during this time, we have helped thousands of clients achieve their real estate goals.
My areas of practice include residential sales as well as commercial and investment leasing and sales.
Over the past 35 plus years with CENTURY 21 Bachman & Associates I have been awarded the CENTURION 21 national award for outstanding sales performance several times and I've also been fortunate to have been a consistent brokerage top producer.
Through continuing education, I have achieved broker status, the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC) and the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designations.
GIVING BACK
Throughout my career as a Realtor, I've always believed in the importance of volunteering my time to make real estate the best experience for my fellow REALTORS and our clients.
I have had the privilege of being elected president of the Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board in 2002 and president of the Manitoba real estate association in 2011. I have also served on our national organization, the Canadian Real Estate Association, board of directors for 10 years.
During my time as a member REALTOR, I have also had the opportunity to chair the government affairs committees of each of these organizations several times.
I BELIEVE
I strongly believe that building stronger communities that provide good employment opportunities, affordable housing, and safe neighbourhoods for families to thrive and grow benefits everyone.
I've also had the opportunity to sit on several community-based organizations that put this philosophy into practice. They have included the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities, Operation Ezra, the Chai Folk Arts Council, and the Forks North Portage Development Partnership.
Currently, I'm proud to be Co-chair of Manitoba Tipi Matawa; a not-for-profit charity focused on providing home ownership opportunities for First Nation Families living in urban areas.
I am humbled to have been recognized for my volunteer activities by my peers by being honoured as the recipient of the CMHC/MREA award as Outstanding Manitoba REALTOR, the Brian Collie Award for outstanding Achievement in the area of political advocacy on behalf of the association, and the Canadian Real Estate Association Pierre Beauchamp Award for outstanding PAC contribution.
CHOOSING ME
I devote the same level of commitment and energy to my clients as I do to my volunteer activities. During my time as a realtor, I have experienced recession, inflation, 18% mortgage rates, 1.9% mortgage rates, buyers' markets, sellers' markets, and no market.
